Name: | General Tesler |
---|
Name: Tesler
Identity: basic program
Function: General
Height:ludicrous 5'10"
Circuits: orange (primary), green (military), and teal (because he CAN)
Affiliation: Clu
Written as a general utility and tasked with general management, Tesler was tapped for a military position due to his willingness to be ruthless in the name of perfection -- which, under Clu's reign, meant absolute obedience. During and after the ISO War, he carried out military maneuvers in various cities on the Grid, including Gallium, where he saw military potential in a grieving medic named Paige and recruited her to his cause. Some time after that, both of Tesler's hands and forearms were replaced with powerful weaponized prosthetics; the circumstances of this event are unknown. Along with his army, General Tesler was eventually sent to invade and occupy Argon City, and ruled it in Clu's name with little regard for the well-being of its inhabitants.
Tesler is not a pleasant fellow. It is quite possible that he has never had a truly happy or benevolent moment in his life. He is a talented, honey-tongued liar when he has something to gain, but drops the act when given an opportunity to gloat; he derives a sick pleasure from the control he wields over others, and is entirely willing to brutalize and kill to keep his position secure. While he exercises normal caution in most situations, and has been seen to be adept in taking advantage of the conditions and people around him, he does not hesitate to attack an opponent directly if the opportunity presents itself, frequently accompanying powerful strikes from his souped-up gauntlets with mocking taunts designed to eat away at his enemy's confidence. His biggest berserk buttons are disrespect, failure, and threats to his authority; he treats each of these, and any program who brings them to his attention, as mortal foes, and refuses to admit that his nightmares are haunted by visions of doom.
